Skin Cancer
There are three main forms of malignant skin cancer. If the diagnosis is "skin cancer", the carcinoma must be surgically removed. The operation can usually be performed on an outpatient basis.
The following types of skin cancer are most frequently diagnosed:
- Black skin cancer (malignant melanoma)
- White skin cancer (e.g. basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma)
- Actinic keratosis (precursor of white skin cancer)
The earlier cancer is detected, the more promising the fight against it will be. Therefore, you should carry out regular skin screenings in our practice and pay attention to any changes.
